Crystalline PhoenixI paced lightly back and forth on the wall of the dam, my pale brown eyes looking ever outward at the clouded horizon. A warm breeze blew around me, entangling itself in my long brown ringlets and throwing the lace and tulle of my gray dress around me in a silent furor. I held my pale hands gracefully out to my sides like a dancer and my footsteps were silent on the concrete. In the gray even light, there were no shadows; my figure might have disappeared with the wind at any moment. My mind was carefully emptied through a simple meditation; I didn’t want to think about anything.Crystalline Phoenix
